About This Role

As a Customer Service Representative at TasklyAfrica, you will serve as the frontline voice for U.S.-based companies, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service via phone, chat, and email. You will work remotely from Africa while supporting customers across different time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary
  • Document customer interactions and update account records
  • Meet daily and weekly performance targets (call volume, CSAT, resolution time)
  • Follow company scripts, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Collaborate with team leads and managers for quality improvement

Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral or clear accent
  • 1+ years of customer service or call center experience
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Comfortable working with CRM tools (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
  • Quiet, professional home workspace
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including US business hours
