About This Role
As a Customer Service Representative at TasklyAfrica, you will serve as the frontline voice for U.S.-based companies, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service via phone, chat, and email. You will work remotely from Africa while supporting customers across different time zones.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls professionally
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary
- Document customer interactions and update account records
- Meet daily and weekly performance targets (call volume, CSAT, resolution time)
- Follow company scripts, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with team leads and managers for quality improvement
Requirements
- Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral or clear accent
- 1+ years of customer service or call center experience
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Comfortable working with CRM tools (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce, etc.)
- Reliable high-speed internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
- Quiet, professional home workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours, including US business hours
